Ceramides are fats or lipids naturally found in the skin barrier. Their role is to maintain the moisture and ensure the skin’s health. If you want to know more about the ceramides, you may have a look at my related post. https://www.christiannak.com/?p=428
Creams with ceramides and fatty acids are part of my daily routine. For the ceramides I apply to my skin the following:
CeraVE
PM FACIAL MOISTURISING LOTION
With controlled release technology of moisturizing ingredients. It is a lightweight, non-greasy cream. Contains ceramide NP, ceramide AP, ceramide EOP and phytosphingosine. It also comes with SPF50 for sun protection.
The cream contains also
Glycerin (humectant)
Sodium Hyaluronate (humectant)
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (emollient) and
Niacinamide.
It also comes with broad-spectrum SPF50 for sun protection.
I am overall satisfied with this cream.
CeraVE
MOISTURISING CREAM
The cream has rich texture and it can be used for the body as well. I generally apply it before going to bed along with a cream rich in fatty acids, after the serums. Contains ceramide NP, ceramide AP, ceramide EOP and phytosphingosine.
All products I mention have been purchased by me. I do not sell nor collaborate with any company. My reviews come from my personal experience.
