Antioxidants in skincare offer several benefits such as protect skin from free radicals and therefore oxidative stress, help brighten skin and give a more even tone as well as potentially diminish fine lines and wrinkles.
In this particular post, I share the products that I have already tried and find to have positive results.
Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid) and Coenzyme Q10 remain the main antioxidants in my skincare routine but occasionally I add more.

Before that, I want to make it clear that the products have been purchased by me. So here is the list.
CAUDALIE
RESVERATROL LIFT SERUM

RESVERATROL LIFT SERUM
Firming serum with resveratrol. The only serum with resveratrol that I have used so far. I bought it due to the antioxidant action of the resveratrol.
About the composition:
Vitis Vinifera Grapeseed Oil that consists of antioxidants such as flavonoids and resveratrol, fatty acids, minerals and Vitamins C and E.
Resveratrol belongs to a group of compounds called polyphenols with several skin benefits.
Hyaluronic Acid.
Acetyl Dipeptide 1 Cetyl Ester (arginine-tyrosine), a synthetic signal peptide with anti-aging properties that potentially improves skin’s firmness.
Nicotiana Benthamiana Hexapeptide-40 sh-Polypeptide-47. It is a skin conditioning peptide that enhances collagen synthesis.
Nice texture but thin and in my opinion, a quantity is lost in the attempt to apply it to the face. I would prefer a thicker one. It offers a slight tightening at least for the time I used it. I can’t judge the effect on the wrinkles or the tightening effect of the serum in the long term because I buy it occasionally. The serum leaves the skin smooth and soft. The odor is neutral for those they don’t like the fragrance in the skincare products.
There is also a refill available which I think is very important. The bottle is recyclable. Overall, it is a good serum but on the expensive side. If you use more than one serums, the cost significantly increases. However, if you have a minimalist skincare routine, this particular serum together with the cream may be enough.
CAUDALIE
FIRMING NIGHT CREAM WITH COLLAGEN AND RESVERATROL

About the composition: same active ingredients as the serum
Recyclable and refillable glass jar. The texture is pleasant and the scent is not intense.
NIVEA
Q10 ANTI-WRINKLE EXPERT DUAL ACTION SERUM WITH PURE Q10 AND GLYCOSTOP

According to the brand, reduces wrinkles and prevents the appearance of new ones. It also offers firming. GLYCOSTOP protects the skin from glycation damage .
This serum has a very good texture. It contains alcohol denat on the top of the ingredients list. I have to mention this fact for those they don’t like the presence of alcohol denat in their skincare products. I don’t have problem although I would prefer it without alcohol. It is still part of my skincare routine.
NIVEA
ANTI-WRINKLE POWER SPF 15

Contains Coenzyme Q10 (Ubiquinone). It is a potent and essential lipid-soluble antioxidant that acts against free radicals. Slows down the oxidation of the lipids that protect the skin and as result reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Supports the collagen and elastin production.
Creatine, an amino-acid that fights against signs of aging and helps with skin hydration.
I love the texture and the scent of this cream. After use, my skin is hydrated and this hydration lasts.
All products were purchased and paid by me. I don’t sell nor promote any cosmetic product. My reviews are based on my own experience with them.
